So much for humility...

One of our dreams at Ise Kadoya brewery has always been to produce the kind of high quality beer that not only becomes a favorite in Japan but to also could hold its own on the world stage. We have always wanted to produce beers that represent our our city, our culture and our commitment to quality. In 2003, after winning two gold and two bronze medals in the Australian International Beer Awards, we were exhilarated at the recognition and proud to know that part of our dream had come true. Since that time, we have been honored to accept many other medals for our beers, including two bronze medals at the 2006 World Beer Cup in San Diego.

Brewery of the Year, Japan
- First prize
world beer awardsIse Kadoya Brewery was the first brewery to be selected “Brewery of the Year” since this award was created in 2009. This award goes to the company that contributed the most to improving the craft beer industry in Japan in addition to improving its own standards of quality, marketing and people development. The award is decided by a large body of people who are deeply involved in the craft beer industry. Being awarded this prize by a body of my peers is what is so humbling. Everyone at Ise Kadoya is honored to receive such an award.
